Frenchman's Tower

Frenchman's Tower is a thirty-foot red brick structure with a crenelated roof that resembles a medieval castle fortification. Located on Old Page Mill Road in Palo Alto, the building sits on land now owned by Stanford University. Built in eighteen seventy-five, it is distinct for its lack of any doors; its Gothic-style windows are the only openings in the brick walls.
