The Hawaii Film Studio is the only state-owned and operated film and television studio in the United States. You can identify the complex by its gated seven point five acre lot sitting at the foot of Diamond Head crater. Managed by the Hawaii State Film Office, the site includes an air-conditioned, soundproof soundstage covering sixteen thousand five hundred square feet, along with production offices, a construction mill, and storage bungalows.
