You can identify Wrigley Field by the dense web of ivy covering the solid brick walls that enclose the playing field. Built in nineteen fourteen, this ballpark is the second-oldest in Major League Baseball, appearing just two years after Boston's Fenway Park. It originally served as the home for the Chicago Whales, a team in the short-lived Federal League, before the Chicago Cubs began playing here in nineteen sixteen.
