The Johnny Kelley statue on the corner of Commonwealth Avenue and Walnut Street features two men running and holding hands. This bronze sculpture, titled Young at Heart, portrays the marathon runner John Adelbert Kelley at two distinct stages of his life: as a twenty-seven-year-old winning his first Boston Marathon in nineteen thirty-five, and as an eighty-four-year-old man crossing the finish line after his final race in nineteen ninety-two.
