The intersection of Saint James Place and Fulton Street is marked by a mural of the rapper Christopher Wallace, widely known as The Notorious B.I.G., whose childhood home stood just a short distance away on Saint James Place. In June two thousand nineteen, the city officially designated the corner of Saint James Place and Fulton Street as Christopher Notorious B.I.G. Wallace Way to honor the artist who grew up in this neighborhood.
