Q2 Stadium

stadium

The most striking feature of Q2 Stadium is its immense, cable-supported roof canopy, which extends far beyond the seating bowl to provide shade against the Texas sun. This structure rests on four slender concrete columns at the corners of the venue, an engineering choice that allows the sides to remain open to catch natural breezes. Opened in June twenty twenty-one, the stadium serves as the home for Austin Football Club, the city's first major league professional sports team.
