The Nordic ski jumps rise into the skyline as the most prominent feature of this four-hundred-acre facility. Built to host bobsled, skeleton, luge, and ski jumping for the two thousand two Winter Olympic Games, the park was designed under the supervision of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee. Construction began in nineteen ninety-one in the Bear Hollow area, and the venue became an official United States Olympic Training Site.
