Utah State Fairpark

The Utah State Fairpark covers sixty-five acres of Salt Lake City’s west side, identified by the cluster of low-slung, historic brick buildings and expansive outdoor arenas that sit against the backdrop of the Wasatch Mountains. Since nineteen oh two, this site has been the home of the Utah State Fair, which dates back to eighteen fifty-six. Before settling here, the fair had no permanent grounds, frequently moving between locations as the state’s agricultural and commercial landscape shifted.
