Echo Beach

Echo Beach is a secluded cove tucked against the southern edge of the Burleigh Headland, where the sandy shore meets the mouth of Tallebudgera Creek. You can identify the spot by its dramatic volcanic boulders and the dense subtropical rainforest that frames the water, providing a sharp contrast to the open surf beaches nearby. The area is named for the distinctive way the sound of waves hitting the rocky volcanic headland resonates across the small, sheltered bay.
