Franziskuspforte (Stadttor)

The name Franziskuspforte is often conflated with local sites, but you are specifically at the Franciscan Church, or Franziskanerkirche. You can recognize this structure by its exceptionally slender Gothic tower, which looms over the intersection of Franziskanergasse and Sigmund-Haffner-Gasse. Its origins reach back to the eighth century, making it one of the oldest places of worship in Salzburg.
