Phare, The Cambodian Circus

Phare, The Cambodian Circus, operates out of a distinct big top tent in Siem Reap. The performances here move away from animal acts, focusing instead on acrobatics, theater, music, and dance to present stories rooted in Khmer folklore, history, and contemporary life. These productions are created by the performers themselves, many of whom trained at the Phare Ponleu Selpak arts school in Battambang.
