Quai des flots

The Quai des Flots is a thematic garden set along the Saint Lawrence River within the Promenade Samuel-De Champlain. You can identify it by the long, jagged element of white concrete that snakes through the space, functioning as both a seating area and a set of stairs. Five distinct alignments of water jets emerge from granite platforms here, designed to spray upward in a sequence that mimics the rhythm of river waves breaking against the shoreline.
