The Côte de Sillery is a steep, winding road that traces the dramatic cliffside connecting the upper reaches of the district down to the St. Lawrence River. This historic slope is part of the Sillery Heritage Site, a coastal area settled in sixteen thirty-seven that served as an early mission for Algonquin families and later as a landing ground for the nineteenth-century timber trade.
