Segundo Parque de Laureles

The Segundo Parque de Laureles is recognizable as a circular green space that functions as a traffic roundabout. While its name suggests a secondary status, it was actually the first park constructed in the Laureles neighborhood and the first roundabout, or glorieta, built in Medellín. Its design broke from the city's traditional grid pattern, favoring concentric avenues and diagonal streets that draw inspiration from European urban planning.
