The Primer Parque de Laureles is defined by the high, shade-giving trees that frame the circular avenues of this neighborhood. Unlike the grid layouts found elsewhere in Medellín, this area was designed in the early nineteen forties with a radial pattern, featuring concentric streets and roundabouts inspired by European city planning.
