Riegrovy Sady is an eleven-hectare park in the Vinohrady district, defined by a western grassy slope that offers a direct, panoramic view across the city toward Prague Castle. Founded in nineteen oh two and designed in an English style, the park was named to honor František Ladislav Rieger, a prominent nineteenth-century Czech politician who championed independence from the Austrian Empire.
