Arènes de Cimiez

The Arènes de Cimiez form an elliptical stone structure measuring fifty-six by sixty-seven meters. Built during the first century, this amphitheater once served the Roman city of Cemenelum as a venue for gladiatorial combat and public gatherings, holding up to four thousand spectators.
