The Palais des Sports Jean-Bouin is a seven-story, steel-and-glass sports complex situated in downtown Nice. Its structure incorporates four levels of parking and houses an Olympic-sized swimming pool, an ice rink, and fitness facilities. The building is named in honor of Jean Bouin, a prominent French long-distance runner and nineteen twelve Olympic silver medalist who was killed in action during the First World War.
