The Weissenhof Museum occupies a semi-detached house in the Weißenhofsiedlung, a residential estate built in nineteen twenty-seven for a Deutscher Werkbund exhibition. Designed by architects Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, the building is the only one in the entire estate currently open to the public as a museum. Its most recognizable feature is the rooftop garden with a covered promenade, a trademark of Le Corbusier’s architectural vision that offers a panoramic view over Stuttgart.
