Maratha Mandir Theatre

The Maratha Mandir Theatre is a single-screen cinema in Mumbai Central recognizable by the large, aging film posters and marquees that often feature the same title for decades. Opened on October sixteen, nineteen fifty-eight, by the Scindia royal family and Babasaheb Gawde, the building became a premier destination for grand movie premieres, including the nineteen sixty launch of the epic Mughal-e-Azam.
