The Ripon Building is a striking, all-white neoclassical structure defined by its central forty-three-meter clock tower. It serves as the headquarters for the Greater Chennai Corporation, which manages one of the oldest municipal bodies in the world. Completed in nineteen thirteen, the building was designed by G. S. T. Harris and constructed by the builder Loganatha Mudaliar.
