Candi Tebing Gunung Kawi is defined by ten massive stone shrines carved directly into the sheer rock face of the Pakerisan River valley. These structures, reaching up to seven meters in height, are cut into deep, sheltered niches along the cliffs on both sides of the river, which divides the site into two main groups.
