The Palazzo Bolognini Amorini Salina sits on Piazza Santo Stefano, recognizable by the rows of terracotta busts that peer out from circular niches along its facade. Commissioned by the Bolognini family, construction began in fifteen seventeen under the architect Andrea da Formigine. The palace represents a long evolution of Bolognese Renaissance design, with building phases continuing in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries before final nineteenth-century restorations.
