The Scalinata Lardarina is a long, red brick staircase that serves as the primary pedestrian gateway to the village of Corniglia. It climbs from the local train station toward the town center, ascending a steep coastal promontory. The structure consists of thirty-three flights of stairs that wind upward in a zigzag pattern, totaling three hundred and eighty-two individual steps.
