Casa Guazzoni

Casa Guazzoni, located at the corner of Via Malpighi and Via Melzo, is a residential building defined by its dense, sculpted cement facade and intricate ironwork. Constructed between nineteen oh four and nineteen oh six, the building was designed by architect Giovanni Battista Bossi for Giacomo Guazzoni, a master builder who personally oversaw the project on land formerly used for the stables of Milan’s horse-drawn omnibus company.
