Kashiharajingu-Nishiguchi Station is a small stop on the Kintetsu Minami-Osaka Line, defined by its two simple side platforms and the everyday rhythm of a suburban railway. It opened in nineteen twenty-nine under the name Yamato-Ikejiri. A decade later, in nineteen forty, the station was renamed to its current title to align with the growing national significance of the nearby Kashihara Jingu, a grand shrine established to honor Emperor Jimmu, the mythical first emperor of Japan.
