Sora Tsuruhashi honten

Sora Tsuruhashi Honten is a yakiniku restaurant defined by its white exterior signage and a lingering scent of charcoal and grilled meat. Opened in nineteen eighty-one, it began as a small shop measuring only three and a half tsubo. The name Sora, meaning sky, came to the owner after a previous restaurant venture failed. While reflecting on a fresh start, he looked up at the expansive sky and drew inspiration from the feeling of a clean slate.
