Tai Baan Crafts occupies a space on Chao Anou Road where handwoven textiles and traditional village goods from across ten Lao provinces are gathered. The name Tai Baan translates to village or a community of villages in the Lao language, reflecting the collective behind the products. More than two hundred and fifty women producers from diverse ethnic groups contribute items made from hand-spun, naturally dyed cotton, silk, hemp, and bamboo.
