Oriental Building

The Oriental Building is recognizable by its gracefully curved facade, which follows the bend of the road at the intersection of Jalan Tun Perak and Jalan Melaka. Completed in nineteen thirty-two, this five-storey structure was designed by the architect Arthur Oakley Coltman. When it first opened, it rose to a height of eighty-two feet, making it the tallest building in Kuala Lumpur at that time.
