Minnanthu Village is a traditional Bamar settlement set amid the plains of the Bagan Archaeological Zone, recognizable by the sight of residents spinning cotton, weaving cloth on wooden looms, and crafting cigars. Unlike other areas of Bagan that were cleared for archaeological preservation, this village maintains a continuous, centuries-old history of local habitation.
