The Sulamani Temple is recognizable by its massive, two-story red brick structure and the receding terraces that rise toward a central tower. Built in eleven eighty-three by King Narapatisithu, it is one of the final large-scale monuments constructed during the Bagan period. The temple features entrance porches on all four sides, with the eastern porch extending further from the main body than the others.
