Shree Bindhyabasini Temple

Shree Bindhyabasini Temple sits atop a small hillock between the old market and the Bagar area, distinguished by the stone staircases that rise from the east, north, and southeast to meet it. As one of the oldest temples in Pokhara, the site is dedicated to the goddess Bindhyabasini, a manifestation of Durga, who is regarded by many as the guardian deity of the city.
