Tal Barahi Mandir rises as a two-story pagoda on a small, tree-lined island in the middle of Phewa Lake. It is the only temple in Nepal situated entirely within a lake with no land access, requiring visitors to reach its stone-paved courtyard by boat. The structure is built from wood, bricks, and stone, featuring a gilded gajur atop its thatched roof that catches the sunlight even on hazy days.
