The World Peace Pagoda, or Shanti Stupa, sits atop the eleven hundred-meter Anadu Hill, appearing as a brilliant white dome against the treeline when viewed from the shores of Phewa Lake. It is one hundred fifteen feet tall and three hundred forty-four feet in diameter, featuring four golden statues of the Buddha placed in niches to face the cardinal directions.
