The Nieuwe Kerk on Bollenhofsestraat is marked by the Romanesque Revival architecture designed by architect Christiaan Posthumus Meyjes Senior. The building occupies a distinct spot in the Wittevrouwen neighborhood, flanked by the traditional house of the sexton on one side and a gated passage leading to a former community building on the other.
