Hotel Darío stands out on Calle La Calzada for its neoclassical facade, painted in striking shades of aquamarine. The building features six integrated pilasters and a central entrance marked by a semicircular arch and a prominent keystone. Originally constructed in nineteen oh four as a grand residence for Angélica Balladares, the house was long known as the Angélica Mansion. Its architecture is characterized by a two-story design that creates a sense of monumentality compared to the surrounding structures.
