Canglang Pavilion

The Canglang Pavilion is the oldest surviving classical garden in Suzhou, with a history stretching back to ten forty-four. You can identify it by the long, covered, double-sided corridor that runs along the water outside the garden, blending the canal views with the mountain scenery inside. It does not have a traditional boundary wall, which allows the garden to appear as if it flows directly into the natural landscape.
