Baisha Bihua, or the Baisha Murals, are painted on the interior walls of ancient structures like the Dabaoji Palace. You can identify the site by these low-slung, traditional wooden buildings with their distinctive upturned eaves, set against the backdrop of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. These paintings were created between the early Ming and Qing dynasties, reflecting a period when Baisha served as the political and cultural capital for the Naxi people.
