The Yue Fei Temple sits at the southern foot of Qixia Hill, distinguished by the somber iron statues of four figures kneeling in permanent repentance. This site serves as a memorial to Yue Fei, a celebrated Southern Song Dynasty general who led military campaigns to defend the empire against northern invaders until he was executed in eleven forty-two under accusations of treason.
