Biserica Neagră

The Biserica Neagră, or Black Church, dominates the skyline of Brașov with its massive, dark-stone Gothic architecture. It is the largest Lutheran house of worship in Transylvania and remains the most recognizable landmark in the city. Construction began around thirteen eighty-three, though the structure stood unfinished for many years due to conflicts and seismic activity, reaching completion in fourteen seventy-seven.
