The Metalka building is a fifteen-story high-rise that stands out for its uniform, hanging facade made of prefabricated aluminum panels. Completed in nineteen sixty-three, it was the first business skyscraper built in Ljubljana after the Second World War. Architects Edo Mihevc and Boris Leskovec designed the structure to reflect modern international trends, drawing direct inspiration from the clean, slender lines of the Seagram Building in New York.
