Ría de Pasaia / Pasaiako Itsasadarra

other

The Ría de Pasaia is a narrow, deep-water inlet carved between the steep sandstone cliffs of Mount Ulia and the Jaizkibel massif. This natural harbor, which connects to the Atlantic Ocean, functions as the essential maritime gateway for the town of Pasaia, separating the distinct neighborhoods of Pasai San Pedro and Pasai Donibane. The two banks are linked by traditional motorboats that shuttle passengers across the water in a journey lasting only a few minutes.
