Aljibe de la Plaza del Salvador

The Aljibe de la Plaza del Salvador is a small, rectangular masonry structure recognizable by the stone volume above ground that houses its water access point. Built during the Nasrid period between the thirteenth and fifteenth centuries, this underground cistern was designed to collect water from a branch of the Aynadamar irrigation channel, which originated miles away in the Fuente Grande of Alfacar.
