You can identify this tavern by the historical atmosphere of its original location at number twelve, which has operated continuously since nineteen oh six. Founded by Enrique Ruiz, the establishment was initially known as La Alicantina after the origin of its sweet wine. Over the decades, regulars began referring to the tavern by the nickname of its signature drink, and in nineteen ninety, the family finally adopted the name La Casa del Abuelo.
