Victoria Hall

cultural

Victoria Hall features a formal, neoclassical facade designed by architect John Camoletti, a structure built between eighteen ninety-one and eighteen ninety-four. Its exterior gives the building a theatrical character that stands out as a distinct landmark for classical music in the city. The concert hall was financed by Daniel Fitzgerald Packenham Barton, a British consul who lived in Geneva and commissioned the space as a tribute to Queen Victoria.
