Keats House is a white-washed Regency villa on Keats Grove, distinguishable by its tall, narrow windows and the garden where the poet John Keats famously wrote "Ode to a Nightingale" beneath a plum tree. Built between eighteen fourteen and eighteen sixteen as a pair of semi-detached homes known as Wentworth Place, the house served as the poet’s primary London residence from December eighteen eighteen until August eighteen twenty.
