Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Park

Woodlawn Funeral Home and Memorial Park is marked by two prominent stone arches at its entrance along El Camino Real. Established in nineteen oh five on the former site of the Seven Mile House stagecoach stop, this sixty-acre cemetery originated as the Masonic Burial Ground. When San Francisco officials mandated the relocation of the city's cemeteries in the early twentieth century, the Masonic Cemetery moved its interments here, a massive project that eventually brought about forty thousand remains to this Colma site.
