Bay Meadows Town Square is an open, paved plaza surrounded by modern low-rise buildings, defined by outdoor seating, walking paths, and a community atmosphere. It occupies a portion of the eighty-three-acre site that once hosted the Bay Meadows Racetrack, a thoroughbred course that operated here from nineteen thirty-four until its closure in two thousand eight.
