Eden Roc Miami Beach

The Eden Roc Miami Beach is defined by the sign emblazoned with its name atop the structure, a permanent fixture on the skyline. Completed in nineteen fifty-five, the hotel was designed by architect Morris Lapidus in the Miami Modern style. Lapidus took his inspiration from the Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in France, aiming to capture a similar European elegance. The property sits on the former Warner Estate, and its construction sparked a bitter rivalry with the neighboring Fontainebleau Hotel.
