Barton Springs Pool is a three-acre, spring-fed swimming hole nestled within the green expanse of Zilker Park. It is distinguished by its constant temperature, which holds between sixty-eight and seventy degrees Fahrenheit throughout the year, regardless of the scorching Texas heat outside. The pool is filled by the Main Barton Spring, the fourth-largest spring in the state, which delivers millions of gallons of water daily from the Edwards Aquifer.
